Welcome to Fish Doctor TV β the cult TV show & online clinic for aquarium lovers, koi keepers and pond owners. We diagnose fish diseases live, decode water chemistry, and show real treatments that work. No myths. Only healthy fish.

Fish Doctor TV started in 2016 as a YouTube microscope stream. Today it's a full TV-format clinic: we travel to fish farms, pet stores, koi ponds and home aquariums to heal fish in front of cameras.

Our host β aquatic veterinarian Dr. Finn Waters, aka The Fish Doctor β has 18 years in fish pathology, koi medicine and aquarium design. Every episode: real sick fish, real water tests, real lab work, real recovery. You'll learn to spot fin rot, dropsy, ich, velvet, columnaris, swim bladder issues and parasites in seconds.
Drama, science and happy endings. Each episode is 22 minutes of pure aquarium medicine.

Low oxygen or ammonia poisoning. Immediately add air stone, do 30% water change with conditioner, test ammonia/nitrite. Clean filter gently, don't overfeed. If gills are red β ammonia burn, use Prime and bacteria starter.
Raise to 28-30Β°C slowly, add 1 tbsp aquarium salt per 20L, strong aeration, vacuum gravel daily + 25% changes for 10-14 days. Remove carbon. Don't stop early β parasite has free-swimming stage.
Freshwater: 25% weekly. Overstocked or small tanks: twice weekly. Reef: 10% weekly. Always dechlorinate, match temperature within 1Β°C, vacuum substrate.
Root cause is stress + dirty water, not just bacteria. Fix filtration, reduce stocking, add hiding spots, keep nitrate under 20ppm. Then treat with clean water + antibacterial.
Yes. Stable 25-26Β°C for tropical, aeration, bare bottom, dim light, daily 30% changes. Observe 14-21 days before adding to main tank.
